Can anybody tell me how to test the coils packs and what voltage each wire should be at the igniter and coil pack. I'm not getting any spark and Im trying to diagnos the problem.

So if i am reading this right to test the pack you put the pos. on #1 and the neg on #2 and that will tell you if your pack is good?

The picture below the picture of the coilpack is a diagram of the ignitor. just follow the instructions.

Power Transistor Unit (PTU)=Ignitor

The picture/diagram in the FSM is wrong. The ground or "E" is in the middle spot on the 7-pin side of the ignitor. That is represented by "3" circled. It says "G" on the ignitor at that spot if you look at the plastic housing.

The rest of the pins on that side of the ignitor are represented by "1" circled. The pins on the other side of the ignitor are represented by "2" circled. What you are testing is the resistance between ground and the surrounding pins. They should be somewhat close to the values seen in the tables. I just measured mine and got like 18M ohms of resistance which is infinity for all practical purposes. Does this help?

Yes it does thank you! I am stupid when it comes to wiring and diagrams! Thats why i had the harness made for me i was hoping i would not need to be doing this! Only other issue is when i tested my coil packs they came back with 1.2-1.5 ohms resistance not like the .6-.9 the fsm says... Should i be worried about that?

It might run fine for now, but it appears that they are at least getting tired and probably won't take you up to the higher hp levels.

You may be better off pulling the coils off of the engine, removing the stiff rubber boot on the bottom, twisting the small spring out, and lightly dremeling out the brass ring. Cjmart2k has had good luck with this and I am going to do it to mine this winter to help solve my 6000+rpm misfire problem.
