Hey - I've got a 2006 330i that is going off lease in Feb, and I'm seriously considering purchasing a 07 G35X... Searching on autotrader, there appear to be a ton available.

My question is how to tell if a car has the premium package... I'd really like to have the upgraded stereo and the bluetooth capability.

Is there any easy way to tell if a G35X has the premium package?

ThanksUnPossible

Premium package would probably have the 19" wheels and sports suspension, and probably the Navigation system, and bluetooth technology. Now, i am not sure if the premium includes rear-view camera or not.

Ralph Wiggum FTW!

Ok Welcome and great name!

The easiest way to tell if the car has premium audio is to look below the CD input to the lower right of the trim panel and there will be a compact flash drive. From the outside you will see if an ICC sensor on the front bumper (lower left) and that will tell you it has premium package.

The tech features on that car are great and IMO worth the slight increase in price. You will not be disappointed.

Welcome from a former 540i owner that is now a devoted Infiniti owner for life, I would check the rearview mirror to see if it has the Homelink buttons. On non-AWD models you could tell by the heated seat buttons on the center console, but I believe the X comes with heated seats standard. Here's what comes with the premium package on the 08's:

Power sliding tinted glass moonroof with one-touch open/close, tilt feature and sliding sunshade• Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® Premium Audio System with 24-bit Burr-Brown DAC, single-feed 6-disc CD autochanger with MP3 playback capability, Radio Data System (RDS), and 10-speakers, including 3-way component front door speakers with 10-inch subwoofers and a parcel shelf-mounted subwoofer• Driver's Audio Stage• Interface System for iPod®• Heated front seats and outside mirrors (standard on G37x AWD)• 2-way power lumbar support for driver's seat• Memory system for driver's seat, steering wheel and outside mirrors• Driver's seat, steering wheel and outside mirror position synchronization• One-touch auto-up/down rear windows with safety auto-reverse feature• Power tilt and telescopic steering wheel• Auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink® Universal Transceiver and compass (compass not included when combined with Navigation Package)• Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System

I don't know sometimes I think if you buy a high tech car. You almost need a few days vacation just to figure out everything and set up everything.
