How to take out shift knob 350z 2004

Hi all.

I want to how to replace my new shift knobs for 350z.

I am a beginner ^^

Please Help me out

Take a rag and wrap it around the bottom of the old shift knob. Now take a pair of plyers and place it around the bottom of the shift knob that you have protected by the rag and unscrew as you would a bolt or nut.

I'd assume they simply screw on but my Frontier was put on from the factory with some sort of wicked thread locker, I dropped a nut getting that thing loose!
