Hey Guys, this is my first post and I was wondering if there are any DIY's out there on how to take off the front grille off our versa hatch backs because I'm planning to paint it black. Would I need to take off the bumper to take off the Grille?

Take the black clips on the top of the grille out and then it will snap out of the bumper along the bottom edge. You will have to take the air deflector off also before the clips on the grille can be seen. They just need the centers popped up with a small screwdriver or something with a flat head.

Haven't ever looked. And no writeups that I know of. But I would assume it can be taken off, since there has been aftermarket replacements for it.
