how to take apart door panels

i need to know how to take apart the door panels to install my new speakers. or if there is a way to install them without having to take them apart

do a quick search i know that vballer did a write up on installing sound dampner and he showed how to take door panel off.

Take a look at the FSM Factory Service Manual - not sure if it is still posted here. If not buy it on disc. Tells you how to dissasemble the entire vehicle.

You should post (or better yet - do a search) in the audio section. The guys over there will set you straight. But my guess is no one knows how to install speakers without removing the door panels

Hey i think i can help you with that...its quite easy i couldnt find it on here that quick...but did find it but since u already made a post ill save u the trouble from searching it...theres i believe a total of three screws....

1. One is inside the door handle you'll see a small space were you can pry out the cover and theres a screw behind there...

2. Second one inside where you hold the door to close...you can pry out that part and theres another screw there

3. You'll have to open the window switch and to do that you'll have to pry it out...It comes out easy if you pop the back of the window switch and theres another screw there.

remember to open all lines....on the bottom of the door sil...thers another light there that also pry's out...and on top of the door there is a black cover near the side mirrors that also pry's out so you'll have to open that in order to disconnect the wire for the mirror and das pretty much it sorry if i missed n e thing out or if im not to detail everything i said is from memory

yea i found the post of vballers. i got the door panels apart.
