How to tackle rattle noise in the car

05 Altima, since I have locked out my Kenwood HU for the last few days so no tunes I heard quite a bit of rattle from the front dash that I haven't noticed before. I have done a great deal to kill rattle in the past. I think now the problem is from the center console area where the pop-up compartment and the auto shifter area. Just not sure where to look!

I mean if I bang on the area, it rattles a lot, but where the heck do I start?
