on my maxima the speedO has went bad and i have the se with white face gauges and i would like to keep them all maximas i have found have had the black one and i was wondering how i would swap the faces and one more thing i have 300k+ on the car how can i roll up the mileage on the new or can i ever do that. neeed help

You can't change the mileage. Swapping the cluster (I'm guessing that's what you're asking about) should be quite simple. Go HERE, locate your FSM, then go to the interior section.

You could theoretically disassemble the cluster and change the odometer, but it's pointless and not legal (even to correct it to be accurate). Just record the milage off the old cluster and the milage on the new cluster at the time of the swap and keep it with your registration records.

Swapping clusters is very simple and the SE cluster works in the GXE with no issues. Just keep in mind that the SE has a higher redline than the GXE, so the gauge won't reflect real redline anymore.

he can swap out the odometer theres a couple of phillips head screws that hold the odometer in.I had to swap out the cluster on my 90. i played with the odometer from the cluster i got from the j\y you cant budge it. but yes he can keep his current mileage
