This is to remind you that Thursday is Valentine's day. Do not come home empty-handed after work Thursday. It will be too late to help you then.

Flowers are better than candy. Candy always begs the question "Am I fatter now than when you married me?" With a straight face you must always answer "No, why do you ask?"

Avoid the temptation to buy her a new torque wrench, new tires, or that new 12 gauge. Avoid taking her to Hooters for dinner on this night.

When, after you present her with that special little gift, she says "I thought we weren't getting each other anything" she really means, "I like surprises, you remembered" and "Great, I don't have to put ex-lax in your coffee for the next few days."

Give her a hug and tell her how special she is. Then, and only then, tell her you've been looking at a new G37 and you were wondering what she thought about a Black one...

Out of the woods (pardon the pun) Gwoods calls me on Sunday freaked out saying that he totally forgot that Thursday was Valentines day... he told his wife that he was planning on coming to my house, but I think she had other plans! I think he covered his tracks, but at the end of it all... we're installing the spoiler on Sunday!

Needless to say, my wife and I have boycotted this stupid holiday ever since we met... I don't need a reason to tell my wife I love her, and she is so low maintenence that she doesn't want to celebrate it either. Besides, I can always show my wife how much I love her everyday with a little "slap & Tickle!"

So I'm making plans with the wife one second then talking to her about installing your spoiler the next..... its hard being blond!

dude i get wht your sayin my gf hates v-day too but i get her somethin anyway cause i know she really likes gettin stuff lol. like this year she really wanted to go to this linkin park concert and now they are sold out but what she doesnt know is i bought tickets three weeks ago. I totally have a get outta s$#% free card for awhile lol, but then again your married so u might know better
