how to ship my rb from NJ to CA?

i have a rb25 motor with the intake, turbo, and everything still on the motor except for the trans.

how do i ship this beast to CA to its new owner and how much would it cost approx

It's pretty tough. completely different than shipping a regular package.
first you need to know how much the skid weighs, and approximate dimensions, then more importantly the shippers dock address. The shipper will probably tell you and your recipient what dock is near by.

Have you considered opening a phone book under 'shipping - Freight' and just .. oh I don't know.. actually calling vendors instead of relying on someone to do it for you? There has to be an R&L, Fed Ex Freight, Yellow Freight near by.

If you are detecting a note of sarcasm or hint of condescendtion... it's not your imagination.

i got my RB shipped from Texas to NY for $250

That's not bad. I'm hoping for a local pickup but if someone pays shipping, ill ship no problem

sup andrew u met you yesterday with alex, your best bet is to find a FREIGHT shipping company, source a pallet, and strap it down and send, its probally the safest way to do it, and little cheaper if you drop it off but youmight need a lift gate when he receives it

i dont think im going to ship it. too much work and not enough time lol. i just wanna get rid of it. 700 for the rb picked up. i can drive it to someone if they dont have a pickup truck
