Do you want to torque the nut on the ball joint before taking the car off jack stands? Or lower it and then tighten it?

i believe you torque the castle nut while the full weight of the car is resting on it. & wc are the b12 sentra ball joints taller and act almost like a roll center kit? any info is appreciated

I also used the Energy Suspension subframe bushings and i love them but i didnt use the s13 stackable ones for my s13 i used the s14 and about 4 washers stacked ontop of the stock washer to hold them in.

BTW, Whats exaclty is the advantage of using a different ball joint. How come you just didnt replace them with s13 ball joints? Are they more expensive? Do the B12 Ball joints they perform better?
those are s14 bushings in the pic. i didnt need any washers, but i cut the metal insert shorter.

yes torque them with the car on the ground. idk if they really act like a roll center kit. the b12s are a little taller but not by a lot

^ well iirc all a roll center adjuster does is raise to point where the ball joint pivots in relation to the rlca to compensate on vehicles that are lowered beyond stock. eh, anyways thanx for the response. let us know how they feel when you get your car on the road. i think i am going to replace my rear ball joints this winter when i have time

Oops, I torque them first and then lowered them. I think I'll be fine, I'll inspect them when I replace my arms and sway bar bushings.

technically because the castle nut is secured by a cotter pin u should b okay. but i def would retorque em on the ground. its a b**** i know, especially when you have your car lowered, but safety first

Very good writeup! I agree with you about the SPL aluminum bushing being too much for the street.I have them for my track car and they are noisy as hell but also feel solid as hell which is awesome. I have Nismo's in my street car.
