3% is a problem.
since you only have 2% now, I'd just keep and eye on it.

side note:
be careful with trusting the fluid in your reservoir.
as i have explained before, brake fluid doesn't travel in a circle. the fluid inside the lines doesn't really come back to the reservoir. by the time you get a 'negative' reading on the fluid in the reservoir, the fluid inside the lines has long been in a state far worse than whats in the reservoir.

if you want an accurate reading, bleed your brake calipers (losing about a table spoon of fluid per caliper) into a cut open clean plastic bottle, and test THAT fluid. that will tell you the condition of the fluid that you are actually using to stop your car.

I just reach 60k on my 2011 rogue and went to a dealer about my whining transmission issue. it seems to have been to much oil. it cost me nothing and the noise has disappear so I'm more than happy, however the guy told me that I probably can wait before changing the oil but the brake fluid should be changed every 15k which seem to be odd because I thought it was good for almost 100k.
did anyone perform the brake fluid flush? and and much fluid do I need?
is it possible to DIY?

Yes it is absolutely a DIY. Nissan did change it to 15k, although you can easily go every 2 years if not longer. There are test kits you can get that will tell you how much "life" is left in your brake fluid.

You can go on youtube and search for brake fluid change.

Although if you are not completely comfortable doing this bring it to a shop, brakes are obviously a major safety concern. It should be like $50 at a mechanic.

thanks for the quick and smart answer.
my dealer , even with 10% discount, expect to charge me 100 bucks so I will definitely do it myself.
as said in the first video a quart should be enough

brake fluid absorbs moisture from the atmosphere(hygroscopic). it should be changed around 15k-30k. as darylzero pointed out, its an easy DIY.

for those who tow, or live in hills - they should change it every 15k. the older it is, the lower the boiling point. that means when they need their brakes the most - the fluid will boil instead, causing steam pockets = and giving you a pedal that falls to the floor and zero brake power.

well today I felt courageous and thanks to the very well made tutorials from 5:56 and the links of darylzero I changed:
transfer case
rear differential
brake fluid
and I took the opportunity to change also the engine oil with filter as well as the air filter and the cabin air filter.
I think everything was taken care of for my 60K service.
ALSO KUDOS TO YOU ALL. YOU MIGHT NOT REALIZE HOW MUCH HELP YOUR ADVICES ARE TO PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO FACE A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP .
Like I was writing in my previous post: brake fluid change at the dealer $100 even with 10% discount.
1 quart of brake fluid: 5 bucks and change...
Once again thank you, the time you spend here is not in vain!
