How to restore the black on third light brake panel?

Hi there,

I am wondering if there is a way to restore the black on the lens of a 94+ TT , tint it or is better to replace for a z1 one?

If buying one is a better option, Is safe to get it shipped, cause mine will be going from z1 to miami, from miami to Costa Rica. And I don't want to get it cracked.
