how to: replacing a/c micro filter-g35

I just did my filter and would like to add one thing to step #7. When you take the white plastic cover off, you unclip it on the right side but do not pull it toward you. The left side of the cover has a tap (not a clip) that slides in to the left. You can see the tab in telcoman's pic above. You have to slide the cover to the right (sliding the tab out). If you pull the cover toward you the tab will crack and could brake off. I learned the hard way and don't want it to happen to you.

Bumping an old thread for newbies like me.

I took my girlfriend's 2004 G35 Coupe in for an oil change yesterday and they had a laundry list of things she should have looked into.....

The local dealer (Grubbs Infiniti in Euless, TX) wanted $110 to replace the in cabin filter..... I think I'll buy one from Auto Zone for $25 and install it myself (along with an air filter they wanted $45 for at the dealer).

BTW - the local service manager was a super nice guy and I liked the dealership but I'd rather do the easy stuff for my girlfriend and save her a few bucks.
