I'm trying to replace the brake pad. I unhooked the parking brake stay and caliper seperated. But I can't get the pad holder off the caliper. It won't wiggle out. What can I do?

unbolt the torque member and pull it off as an assembly. Then when you go back together you can put the torque member on first then the caliper over the pads. Providing you compress the caliper properly by twisting it and pushing it.

I think that is what I did. I unbolted two bolts at the both end of the caliper body and half of the caliper came off. I can't get the silver clip that braces the pad off. So I feel like I have to unbolt something else and don't know what that is.

what silver clip? Once the caliper is off the pads practically fall out. there are 4 bolts total to take out. The 2 on the slide pins that hold the caliper to the torque me,ber and then the 2 that hold the torque member to the spindle assembly

Forgot to tell you. I was working on rear one.

And I took the pads out eventually. Thanks a lot!

Well unless there is some mod to put parking brakes on the fronts I kinda realized that
