how to replace s13 lock cylinders with sentra lock cylinders

My door lock cylinders on my 240sx are shot, one broke and the other is seized up and will not turn. I've been looking around for replacements but no companies make them anymore and nobody seems to have them in inventory. I've found a set of used ones which would seem to be only a temporary fix seeing as how much use these parts see during their life time. While looking around I have seen a couple posts about being able to modify sentra lock cylinders to fit, but nobody has really gone into any detail about how to make them work. I was just wondering if anyone who has done this could share some info: what year sentra locks work, if its a direct fit or what may need to be modified to get it to work. If someone can give me an idea I can take some pictures and do a write up seeing as a lot of people seem to have this same problem.
