Anyone know how to change interior bulbs to LED's or can provide me with some links with instructions? I clicked on the FAQ link and the instructions were erased or deleted.

Thanks,

Can someone tell me what bulbs to buy? I want to start with the top ceiling lights and then the doors inside and lining on the floor.

You can find those sizes on eBay. Some sellers have the whole bundle for the car with like 12 bulbs. What I do is buy single bulbs in bulk, it's basically the same price as the kit. A lot of the bulbs are interchangeable as well. The puddle lights(4),the trunk(2), and the DRL(2) are pretty much all the same bulb. You just have to get the correct amounts of LEDs on it.

Will update....

Yes that's it....you an pretty much YouTube any car changing led bulbs....it's all the same...pop the cover off, unplug the wire, take old bulb out,put new bulb in...and if your not comfortable or is is your first time doing this, unplug the negative terminal on your battery to avoid blowing a fuse or 10.

Can someone tell me what the courtesy lights are? Are those the side door lights? Also, what are the lights for the two front seats that light up with the logo?

The courtesy lamps inside the bottom of the doors are 921. The kick plates with the logo illuminated are a sealed unit and far as I am aware, nobody on here has attempted them. It's much more complicated than changing a bulb.

Thanks Larz. The former owner of my M changed the kick plates from infinit to "FUGA" so I know it is possible. Would suck to have every other light LED and the Kick plates regular.

Dean has taken the kick plates apart - see 2/3 of the way down on this post: post6532444.html#p6532444

Not sure if he has attempted to change out the LED to another color.

Anyone know how to remove the front side fender markers to replace the bulb? I was trying to remove the driver side one and I ended up snapping the plastic top off and had to crazy glue it back.

you have to pop the lens off and glue it back together with silicon from my experience with the 06/07 thats the easiest way to get rid of the orange plastic inside the side markers. Same with the 08+ models. Have to be a bit more careful not to crack the lens but less time consuming breaking out the orange plastic

Looking at how far from the edge of underbody you placed the lights for that beam placement. Which brand of lights?

Thanks

Hi All, So I changed just about every light to LED except 3. The maplights from the visors up top, the parking lights and the reverse lights. Anyone know what bulbs are for the parking lights and map lights? I believe the reverse are 921 correct? How hard is it to remove the head/tail lights and replace these bulbs?

Thanks in advance,

Is it ok to plug out the auto leveler out the headlight? My left head light was making noise so I plug it out and manually level my head light.
