How to replace idler pulley?

Hi, I need to replace idler pulley to get rid of whistle noise from engine room. I bought a parts but I don't know how to do it even I have repair manual which is pdf file. I couldn't find... Could you guys help me?Thanks.

Page MA-10 describes what you want. Probably just two bolts that hold it on, plus the bolt on the pulley itself.

GI-41 has the general bolt tightening torque, if you're worried about that.

you can get an FSM free at PHATG20 dot com, gives you the instructions you need, also spend some cash and get Chiltons or the Haynes Manual - those help out alot for basic maintenance stuff like this.

I'm trying to firgure out now.I don't know the sign that is "N.m (kg-m ft-lb), (kg-m in-lb)"does it mean how much tight to bolt and nut?How do I know???Thanks.

Yes, that is how hard to tighten a bolt.

nm=newton meters (metric)kg-m=kilogram meters (metric)ft-lb=foot poundsin-lb=inch pounds

Those numbers correspond to settings on a torque wrench.

I replaced the idler pulley and belt.It wasn't difficult.However I tried to replace another belt which is short one.I couldn't because I don't know how to loose the pulley.I read a manual but it doesn't give any ideas to me.I just gave up...
