How to replace an exhaust manifold?

Hi,I would like to replac the rear exhaust manifold because of leak. What I bought is the new rear exhaust with a gasket and studs(at carquest), two gasket which is between both exhaust and Y-pipe (OEM).

Now I need to know how to do it. I read a hayness manual. The book said I need to hold the engine on while a bar supporting engine is removing. Do I have to buy a cherry picker to pull the engine up?

What kinds of tools do I need?

remove the cross member and those two motor mounts. then, use a tie down or ratchet strap to hold the motor towards the front of the car.
