Whats involved in replacing this valve. The TSM (tech service manual) notes it is located under the intake plenum back near the firewall.
I'm currently obtaining consistent diagnostic codes of P1400 and P325. First will troubleshoot the knock sensor resistance at F80 junction plug. For the EGRC solenoid planning on same by checking resistance and operation by applying 12v source. Should ruling out both either suspect sensors and the engine sub-harness.
As far as replacement of sensors, it appears the knock sensors can be serviced by going into the front of the engine and reach in under the intake plenum. What about servicing the EGRC solenoid valve since it is located further back?
