I'm trying to replace my fuel pump but it looks pretty scary once I got into it. Anyone know the appropriate procedure? How difficult is the task? (1-10) If it's too hard I'll just let someone else do it.

Thanks

Oh it was pretty easy, but the problem still persists.

The problem is: The car's fuel cut out during uphill and long turns.

I replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump.

What else could it be?

Thanks

how much gas is in the tank? if there isnt much maybe it just wont pump cuz its all sloshed around to one spot

possibly a clogged injector

have you hardwired your fuel pump yet.Not saying its going to fix anything but it wont hurt either.how are you sure its fuel cut and not retarded timing?are you getting a sudden loss of power?are you getting on the gas on the uphill and the corners?car could possibly knocking and retarding timing to prevent damage if your running it really hard
