How to replace 06 M35 license plate bulbs

I searched but couldn't find anything about this.

I wanted to replace my 06 M35's license plate bulbs. i bought some White LED's on ebay but i don't want to take it into the dealership to do it. I bought the right size.

Can anyone provide me a step-by-step way to replace them myself?

Dude,

One of my bulbs burned out and i tried looking for a way to replace the bulbs. I ended up taking it to the dealer (which was under warranty). According to the manual it requires a Infiniti tech to replace...crazy huh?

Yeah dude totally. cause i looked in the manual to see if it showed me how to just do it myself, but it says to take it to a dealership..

i guess thats what im going to have to end up doing. Mines under warranty, but they arent burnt out, i just want to change to white LED, so i doubt the warranty will cover it.

Oh yeah...you might be able to have them do it for nothing..like during an oil change or regular service.....if you have a good relationship with your service technician.

Pretty absurd. I just got some PIAA hyperwhite bulbs for this but I have my 30k mile service tomorrow and asking the dealer to do it then.

Dudes,There is a service manual available on this site for your car that shows you how to change the license plate bulbs step by step. Check the stickies in this forum. The file you are looking for is lt.pdf

to change the bulbs on the license plate,all you have to do is open your trunk pop out the plastic caps behind the trunk door and you do it from there its very easy.pop out whatever you need to get to the bulbs i did it. theres no need to go to the dealer for that.hope this helps
