No don't worry I'm not doing the "single blade conversion" or anything ricey like that, I just want to take them off to repaint them. I'm talking about the whole thing not just the blade part. I took off the caps and the bolt that is under it but they still don't come off. This is on a 98, anybody done this before?

I'm sure any young lad with a phillips can remove a windshield wiper. Look around for more screws, if nothing else...PULL HARDER.

You do not pull off your wiper arms . You remove the nut and PUSH DOWN ON THE ARM and they will pop off. DO NOT PRY WITH ANY TOOL OR YOU WILL BREAK THE WINDSHIELD.
