How to remove the window from the driver side door?

1989 240SX fast back, I will take pictures if need be but does anyone know how to get the windows out? The top ones are unbolted as the others but the male part is stuck in the circle part of the door and it wont come out.

Can you snap a pic and circle what you mean? I can't get a good mental image.

Take out the window regulator first. It's one more step, but it'll make life a little easier (at least it did for me).
