Well, I tried to suck the old fluid out with a turkey baster but the filter screen was on the way. The screen looks like it's not removable. Anyone has done this before with different way? Please help! Thanks!

Just pry it out with a small flat-blade.

Nope, I tried and it won't work. I'm 99.99% positive that the filter screen is built-in into the reservoir. Have you remove the screen on a Y33? Q45Tech? Anyone?

...my bad... on the 97, the resevoir is all plastik and the screen *does* indeed appear locked in. I was thinking of my 95 alty which it comes out quite easily.

Thank you for confirmation on this , Jay. I might just go ahead and cut the screen. I don't think the screen do much good anyway. My friends' GS400s didn't have any screen so I think cutting it wouldn't be a really bad idea.

If you change the fluid often enough it might be OK. I've seen a lot of seal material caught in the screens on neglected cars.

And you definitely don't want any screen material to fall into the resevoir.

Might think twice about cuttiing it.

I'll be extra careful.
