My cam and crank sensor went out. I fixed the cam sensorby replacing the distributor. it seemed to fix the engine issues for the most part. The crank sensor, if its where im thinking it is (12 o clock on the top of rhe transmission). I have no idea how to get in there to remove it. Even if i could, i dont see how id be able to unplug it and reinstall it.
I even removed the valve cover, nothing..
Does somone have a video of it being removed? I couldnt find one on YouTube.
Also what does the sensor being faulty cause? I read on the fsm and it says it dosent effect the ECM, it just detects misfires, so am I good to not fix it?

I've been running my D21 with a bad sensor for a year now. The only way to get to it is to raise the engine, remove motor mounts, lower engine, and even then it's a PITA.

It will throw a code but doesn't affect drivability.
