Okay so the threads on my alternator are stripped (The threads that the tensioner bolt thing goes in to) The problem is that I cannot get my alternator off due to the slip ring being stuck and not allowing the alternator off of the main mounting. Even with all bolts removed. Here is a picture of the slip ring im referring to

Can anyone tell me how to get this thing unstuck? I tried wedging it out with the bolt and no success. ANy help would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to take this to a shop for something so simple. P.S. you guys are awesome. Thanks!
