These Convertible service manual supplements are fantastic.

I have to get one of my own soon. I stole this one from my little brother whiles he's at boot camp.

You should be able to find them on ebay now and then.. $25 to $35... well worth it!

Here's the info for the top of the window.

yeah sort of.. it's a little more in detail about how the bows work and the rams and things.. but they do get into the "top cover assembly", etc...

It's not exactly a direct lesson on doing it.. but you can get enough out of it to do the work.

Replacing the top is very difficult and time consuming... Not because it's technically or mechanically difficult, but rather because it's so much work get all the fabric to lay flat, tighten up, seal and staple, etc... It's really the uphostry work that is hard.

Think of it like redoing a seat.. it's very easy to pull old fabric off and put new fabric on.. but to get it to seem in and look nice and lay flat without wrinkles and stuff... that's very hard.

Be careful not to break it. Checked the price and it's $116 for the outer trim.

This is the new Iserve software. Click on the image to get a bigger version. I edited all to rotate them so they are right side up... but it didn't work for all of them. Let me know if you need the original photo.. I'll email it to you.. sorry....

Sure thing.. Sorry for the delay, and sorry about the format of those pictures.. I'm still trying to get used to the new program.
