I would like to run wires from the front to back but don’t know how to remove the back drivers side rear panel. Does it just come off from clips or or there screws holding it on.

There are 6mm (10mm head) screws underneath the center covers on the tie-down hooks. The side covers are pretty much impossible to pull without removing everything in the center of the compartment first, so I don't advise even trying if you're simply routing wires. Partially pulling the rear door and hatch gaskets will allow you to "pop" the pawls nearest the door and hatch, to make "fishing" the wires through with a wire coathanger possible.

If I run wires along weather stripping, how do I get the wire to the hatch when I reach the back of the car? Is there a hole to run the wires up? Seems like if I try and use the holes that go up into the frame. It doesn’t seem the top is open from front to back when I try and use a fish tape.

Thanks,

I'd pull off the plastic door sills (they just pop off) and run your wires alongside the existing body harness. You can fish them past the b-pillar or take it loose, it also pops off (although if I recall, on a Path you need to remove the lower seat belt anchor, 14mm). The only place fishing is really necessary is around the rear wheel well toward the back of the car, because the rear panels are such a total PIA. If you need to fish a big bundle or thick wires, get a roll of hookup wire from the parts store and fish it through first as a "guide wire", then tie it around the big bundle and pull that through rather than pushing. Much easier that way.

I think I mis-read your Q, are you trying to get wires into the hatch? If so then you really have no choice but to bite the bullet and remove both side covers, because the only way into the hatch is through the flex boots at the top alongside the hinges. You'll only get at those by dropping the rear portion of the headliner. Big project.

Yes I’m trying to run wires to the hatch lid. I’m putting in a lift gate system and I need to run wires from front to back. I didn’t think it looked to easy. Is it possible to run the wires from top of the hatch that has wires going into the car above roof cover to the B pillar and down?
Thanks,

Yep, I answered you in that other forum that shall remain nameless. ;) The rear part of the headliner will need to drop, but routing the wires under the headliner to the B-pillar and then down to the rocker is definitely the way to go.
