how to remove paint

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Hey guys ,

I bought the taillight off ebay and I got some toy model spray paint.. And I screwed up.. How do I remove the paint? I've already try rubbing alcohol and the such.. Please help...

They make a product called paint remover... It removes paint. try to get a weak stuff as you can though and clean it off as soon as your done so it's doesn't eat away at your plastic.

It would depend on the type of paint. For model paint, if is an enamel then try either the enamel thinner or mineral sprits. If its a laquer or acrylic try a paint remover, but try it on an unexposed area to see if it eats the plastic. Another option is brake fluid, it usually wont attack plastic but it sure takes off paint of any type.

I'll take pics today before I will clean it.

Brake fluids? I got extra.. I'll try that first...
