how to remove ignition lock cylinder 90 sentra

Hello, I'm trying to remove just the lock cylinder from my ignition, 90 sentra. I am going to re-key the ignition to match another key I have for another Nissan. I had the column covers off and see 2 brass pins but they do not push in. I've read about having the ignition in the ACC and than pressing in a pin but do not see any pin. On another thread on here it says the pin is 1-2 inches back but do not see anything, anyone help??
