I am getting ready to have clear film install on the front of my FX37 and cannot figure out how the snap tabs that hold the grille in the front end work> I have removed the nuts and cannot figure out how to move the snap in tabs in order to remove the grille. I do not want to break them , but do not know if I need to move the tabs left or right like on my Mini or squeeze them together and pull grille out.

I was able to have the grill remove before they put the clear film on my car. The guys at the shop were able to compress the clips by hand and remove the grill. I must be loosing finger strength in my old age.
