I've got a spare t25/manifold/elbow that I'm trying to clean up. Carb cleaner works good for oil residue and stuff, but doesn't do anything to the black carbon buildup in the exhaust areas. What do you all use to remove the black carbon buildup? I need something alot stronger I guess. Thanks alot!Jordan

You need some throttle body cleaner. Should clean all that carbon right up. I'm not sure if they sell it OTC or not. Check with all your local parts stores.

Isn't TB cleaner basically the same as carb cleaner? I've been using carb cleaner, doesn't seem to do anything. I've heard that sea foam is good for this type of stuff, but doesn't come in a spray application. Anybody know anything else? Thanks!

Yeah it is, my mistake. Try some simple green. Not expensive and it usually works on everything.
