I have an 09 so I hope it's the same. To remove the bumper, you have to remove the plastic shield at the bottom of the engine, it's just held on mostly by plastic clips and 3 screws on each side. The clips are removed by pushing straight outward on the pinhead with a flat screwdriver and once you see the small opening just pull them out with your hand. You will also have to loosen the fender protectors which is the same process (those are just held in with the screwclips), you don't have to take out the whole thing, just loosen the front half (closest to the bumper) - removing the wheels will make this easier but not absolutely necessary. At the every edge (end) on both sides of the bumper, there is a screw that holds the bumper to the fender - those screws are just underneath the plastic shield around the tire area. Once you get those screws out, just pull out the bumper gently starting from one side to the front and then the other side to the front also. 2 People will make the job a little easier to pull out the bumper.

Just take your time, remove the 2 front wheels if you can so that way you can see everything quite easily. Print out what I wrote and then compare to what you see on the car so you have a clear idea what to do before you even start. Once you think you have it figured out, then try to do it. It is not difficult, just be careful when removing the bumper, you have to give it a quick tug to pull it out of the fender. If you run into any difficulty just let us know.

Thanks faja! finally got a chance to do this, i just got done removing the bumper, also replaced my headlights in the process AND fixed the sag. Your instructions were perfect, thanks again! when i get the chance i'll post pics for anyone else having the sagging problem in their front bumper... it was easy to fix :dblthumb:

I'm curious to see what the bumper looked like with the sag.... do you know what caused it and how did you fix it? Post some pics if you can.

ok i'm retarded for not taking a before picture.. sorry bout that.. but here's how i fixed it

here's where the sag initially was, i took this after i fixed it though.. but there was a hole under the passenger side headlight and also where the bumper meets the hood there was a gap

saw this little thing sticking out from under the headlight and it obviously was what the cause was... it was bent down slightly more than the other side. i bent it back into place with my hand. when it's warped out of shape it will bend back to the original form pretty easily.

sag fixed and headlamps installed

My car has that same gap, I thought it was because I hit something with out knowing or something. Glad to know it's something I can fix.
