Haha, sorta the same thing happened to me one time when i first started driving stick. Forgot to put it in gear and pull the hand brake when i parked. Went out of the car, locked the door, walked 5 steps forward. Turned around, and yup, the car was gone. Looked down ans saw it rolling slowly, went in front of it and tried to keep it from rolling, it was pushing me instead. Luckily it reached a speed bump and was going to slow for it to go over it. Woulda hit a wall otherwise. This was at a restaurant too, evreyone was looking at me like, uhhhhhhhh.

Sorry that happened to you man. Hope it won't cost too much to fix.Ive had a remote start on my 5sp Civic and now this car. I've only left the honda in gear once, when I first got it. That was 3 years ago.

Even if you are in a hurry, always shake the stick to make sure u in neutral.

When they installed mine, they bypassed the clutch. So now you don't have to press the clutch to start it. I was told by another 14 owner that Nissans have a special cable somewhere by the driveshaft that allows the car to be remote started, without the cluth being bypassed. this means that even if it is left in gear it will not jump. i am currently researching this and will change my setup if I find it to be true.

My alarm that I just installed has a turbo timer, so I just make sure that I use that every single time that I park, then I don't have to worry about leaving it in gear when I remote start. Just get a turbo timer and use it every time!

That sucks really bad though

Yea I think i have the same alarm, I got a Viper 791xv with the lcd screen, remote start, turbo timer and all that good stuff.

I took it to a shop yesterday and they said I need to replace the following parts:

HoodBumper CoverBumper ReinforcementBumper BracketBumper Energy AbsorberDrivers HeadlightDrivers Cornerlight

Total for parts and labor came out to be about $1900. I already have a Navan bumper (you can kinda see it in the first pic) and I'm probly just gonna get a Carbon Fiber hood.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY OF THE PARTS LISTED ABOVE FOR SALE PLEASE EMAIL ME AT [email protected]
