Just got a new set of wheels and tires from tirerack. Choose to get new tpms sensors preinstalled through tirerack. Does any one know what I need to do to get my car to start reading these new sensors?

Hmmm ... are those OEM Infiniti sensors? If not, the car probably cannot read them, I would bet!

If they are OEM sensors, then the quickest/best thing to do is to get the Infiniti dealer to use their TPMS Magic Wand and re-initialize them to the car.

Is TPMS built into the wheel somewhere?

I think Infiniti uses a shrader airware brand tpms, the specific model is 20064. This very same model is used by multiple car manufacturers. I don’t think there is an oem deal here. I will ask the dealer to use the wand on my car. Sure hope it works.

Dont waste time at the dealer if they are OEM. If they OEM, just ride around & give them about 7-10 days. Thats all it took for mine.

I'm not sure why that process of the 7-10 wait/driving worked for you jankenpro30I had mine on for almost a month, driving about 550km/week so approx 1800km while I waited for the guy at my dealership to get back from holidays and in that time the TPMS never read the sensors;

With that said, I did get new sensors (OEM) for the second set of wheels;

I have had the sensors, before I had two sets of rims, reset when switching winter/summer, but that was using the same position for each wheel sensor; and it resets in about 20km of travel;
