Well im in the process of adding subframe collars. I tried raising it from the frame rails but they just get all bend up. Any other good spot to jack it up from that wont cause damage? And where should i place the jack stands? thanks.

jack from the diff.
jackstands go at the pinch welds.
many people use the frame rails/boobie lookin things/or subfame.
but the oe locations are the pinch welds..

dont put the jack stands at the pinchwelds!!!!! It will crush them, they are made for the stock scissor jack which has a slotted seat. I always use the boobie lookin things, they work great

if you would use jackstands with the lil slot in them you wouldnt have this problem...

see? lil slot... the rubber pads make it even better.
dont say a method is wrong if you dont have the proper tools.

When I had my s13, I used the frame rails the first time. HORRIBLE idea as I crushed the rear ones. Gave more ground clearance though....lol.

I've also used the pinch welds before. As stated above, they'll bend flat. Not a real big deal. Much better than using the frame rails. After that first time though, I would always try to use the front crossmember (by the radiator) or the diff.

Remember to use jackstands!

seriously? All you need to do is use a wood block if you don't have a slotted jack. Come on now.

I did it with a 2x4 after, i also made a groove right in the middle so it sat leveled with the frame rail.

I meant to write "Don't jack it from the pinch welds" My bad, just a simple proofreading error.
