how to quick release/nrg horn doesn't work,crappy?/

Q #1: ive got an nrg steering wheel (not installed yet) and im tryin to press the button,it seems like it doesnt work,i took it out,figured it out and put it again..its still the same,i cant press the button. (when its not installed its pressable and when installed its unpressable) nrg is good quality brand but how come the horn is crappy.

Q #2: ive been searching on the internet how to install the quick release but i can't find one that is really helpful,
i was wonderin' if i install the quick release and just connect the wires male to female for the horn without any special
wiring connections(like the one on youtube using wires/clips) would my horn works? mine doesn't have an airbag i got an s13

the problem is, some of it are hard to understand without pictures. the pictures are not showing lol, tnx tho
