how to pry open the headlights?

Hey guys, i was want to know if there is any other way of opening the headlights. i have tried using a heat gun but that does not do anything to it. is baking them the ONLY way? thanks!

That's the way they do them on the G's. I assume it is the same for the Altimas.

Pre heat your oven to 350 degress and place them in one at a time. Make sure you have gloves on and pull them out after about 5-10 minutes. Use a small screwdriver on one corner to start the "prying" effect and pull apart slowly. When it's time to put back together, you'll have to reheat them to get the sealant soft so it can bond back to the light. In some cases you need to add a silicone sealant as well. There are videos on youtube on how to do it as well. Goodluck.

I drive a G and I usually put it in the oven for 215-225 for 10 to 15 minutes. Hopefully this help.
