Ok well as some of you know i purchased a set of projector fogs without knowing that they fit. Well they do so heres my how to on it since you DO need to modify the fog light area to do so. But it is really easy you'll just go through probably 2 box cutter blades lol.

This is a daring thing to do after you do this these will be the ONLY fogs you will EVER have....unless u can find some the smae size

OK

things you need- box cutter "multiple Blades....youll see why"- The Fogs- Wiring "I already had my last fogs wired so i used the existing plugs"

1. Buy them off ebay - type in "altima projector foglights" literally just like that or you won't get the right ones. http://search.ebay.com/search/...gory0=

I paid 75 shipped and they took about a week to get there

2. They will not fit without cutting

You need to cut the inside layers out.......meaning the highlighted red part......especially the top and bottom or it wont fit

3. Next you will have to cut the little top part of the fog....cut it to where i drew the red line"ish"

after

4. Wire the Fogs and plug them in "i already had them wired"

To put them in you need to have them tilted a little so that they will go in.....dont be afraid to push them hard. They will POP in and then you can turn them so they are straight.

5. DONE turn on and enjoy

Oh and this is what happens when you dont take your time and have patience......small pieces is the key

.............do i get a cutom title now???

Phenom... Im not sure if this is writeup worthy lol... but ill see.. If the foglights last then its worthy, but Ebay lights usually arent the most reliable, especially if it says its a direct fit and its not.

A good idea would have been to have a dremel instead of using a razor, it would have done the work for you and made a nice clean cut.

idk a couple people wanted to know if they work so....i wrote it anyway lol doesnt matter..............well they are supposed to be a direct fit for an 04-06 altima

a dremel would have been better but i didnt want to do that bc i have a setup behid it and didnt want to cut that

and no i had aftermarkets before this too

where did you wire the halos to? the parking lights or fogs? or you going to have it so both the fogs and halos are turned on via fog light switch?

oh man, they look great but i fear cutting and losing the ability to use oem fogs just in case. do the fogs use the h11 plugs so its plug and play and the halos require wire splicing? (sorry if the questions are too noobish, still learning hehe)

I think you got the wrong projector fog. I have Projector fog with halo and I didn't have to cut my bumper up at all. It was a direct fit for the 08-09.
