I tried to search for "how to" and "program" in the Versa forums but nothing came up. Just wondering if anyone knows how to program the factory Nissan remotes. Thanks in advance!

If you're talking about the intelligent key fobs, the dealer has to program them to the car for you.

If you've got a standard Key and fob then you can program the fob, or keyfob as the service manual refers to it, but not the key. The service manual has instructions on how to do this on page BL-77. As far as I can tell the only way to reprogram the key is with the "consult-II" that only Nissan dealers are supposed to have.

You should be able to download the service manual from the main splash page. If you can't find it I'll try and post a link. I'd past the instructions in here, but the manual has it in a big flow chart that I can't copy and paste, and would take forever to type and reformat.
