So, randomly all four windows, door locks and my rear defroster all stopped working. I was told it was my window switch and I had to purchase a new one, I did that but my windows and door locks still aren't working, although the rear defroster now works. I was told I had to "program" the window switch to the car, any idea on how I can do that?

That doesn't sound right to me. If you have auto up and down switches you have to reset them by just holding them up for a few seconds while the windows are already up.
