Hey guys I'm a little frustrated with overspray from tire gel. After I wash the car and apply some tire gel (the stuff you apply with a thin sponge, not the spray), and I go for a drive right away there are black spots on the side of the car from the gel flying off the spinning tire and spraying the entire side of the car.

This really sucks when I wanna drive to do a photoshoot and end up with a dirty car.

Anyone have a remedy for this?

Have you tryed to wipe off the excess, and let it dry b/f driving? Just a thought. Also Black Majic makes a satin finish tire dressing, that isn't wet shinny, and it drys in a few min. That is what I use, and it does not sling off, like the problem you are having.

I've tried wiping off the excess but I guess I didn't do a good enough job. I like the wet look so I wanna stick with that. I'll have do a better job getting that stuff out of the tread grooves I guess.

Apply it yourself using a high end gel and apply then wipe off excess right away then let sit for 30-60 minutes before driving to let cure on tires.problem solved
