Make an account on www.photobucket.com and everything else should be pretty self explanatory.

... :werd: and just so you don't go upsetting senior NICO forum members and/or the Admin/Moderator clans, test your posts here, in the NicoClub Test Forum: test-forum.html

here you can post "almost" anything, from testing out your "signature", to pictures, to HTML code, to editting posts/titles/threads, to different use of fonts, videos, use of smiley faces etc.
the reason i use quotations around "almost" is because I'm sure you can't post obscene pictures, videos and junk like that. I believe you'll still have to follow some form of the TOS (terms of service) agreement when registering.

anyway, have fun!!! :dblthumb:

one of the things to remember is once you've got your pics loaded onto a site, make sure you copy your "direct link" to the pics, then use this format.

(img) "your direct link (/img) except change the ( ) to [ ]

^^^
generally the reason some Forums don't like to allow uploads of photos in their posts or whatnot is to conserve server-disk-space. Especially with a forum this large that covers every single Nissan/Infiniti vehicle made, that's a lot of potential members uploading pictures and consuming disk-space.

Then the other concern is housekeeping; how long should the server keep pictures? Threads potentially live on forever, but does that mean the server should keep ALL pictures? and if so, how expensive is it going to cost to archive all these photos/documents?

If anything, some forums allow "supporting" members to upload pix, but might have a specific lifetime/expiration date.
