QX4 remotes and pathfinder remotes are interchangeable along as the models # match.

Made an interesting discovery today went out to my parts bucked and found a remote i pulled from a Infiniti G20 at a junkyard. I was planning on buying one but it didn't have the remote.

I got it to work in my pathfinder! Going to put it in a hide a key box and mount it. The trunk button do-sent do any thing and its a / model. it seems their are more possibility than just the Direct Replacement models!

I have a manufacering date of 9/00 for my pathfinder but still don't seem to know what key remote to order. I see 5W500 but I can't seem to find that number on ebay for a pathfinder. Thanks for any help.

Have a Spanish build 2007 Pathfinder R51 (sold in Australia) with a code on the back of the remote that says 5WK4 876/818 433 MhZ

Also says Siemens VDO

Its a two button square type remote

My Xhorse says its a ASK 433.90 / 433.91 with Baud 259 and 1010 bits

what remote models might work to get a spare one

Just to add, this is not a keyless or intelligent remote, just a normal 2 button one.

The next question is can I pair this without using Nissan Consult II as it seems the only stick the key in 6 times method only works for the remote keyless entry system one (based on 2007 Service manual BL-62).

As long as you get the proper remote with a transponder and a key blank you can cut to match your existing key, there should be no issues registering the new remote with your Pathfinder using the manual method without Consult II.
