I just got 2008 Nissan Versa SL. It does not have key hole on the doors or hatch. There is only intelligent key and buttons on the doors. I am wondering if it is any way to unlock the doors if car battery is dead? Or intelligent key will not work. Does anybody know answer? It makes me very nervous not knowing if I am able to get into my car one day.

I have read the owner's manual cover to cover and the issue is not even addressed, as far as I can see. Ironically, it does talk about the fact that you cannot turn the ignition key from the "lock" position if the battery is dead (6-8). They didn't mention how you got into the car in the first place to try and turn the key

I guess you're going to have to be extra cautious about the car battery and the intelligent key battery.

Good luck

Not even a keyhole on the driver's side door?
It took me a while to figure out how the locks work on mine when I got the 2008. The trunk will not unlock if the battery is dead or not hooked up however. It's frustrating to say the least.

Mine has only 1 keyhole, on the driver's door and you have to turn the key twice to get it to unlock at all.
