How to open door with key?

I know this sounds stupid but I can't open my door with key inside the FOB.I just wanted to see if it works, FAIL!!!!

I believe that (valet) key is only for locking the "Glove" box. This way you could turn off the "trunk" switch in the glove box to off and lock the door so the trunk lid would be disabled for valet parking purposes.

ooops, I stand corrected...it is suppose to work on doors as well...I guess he's S.O.L...

Sorry Xorcst...I was wrong...the key should work on all the door locks. If yours do not work on any of the lock, I could only guess it was a bad key or wrong key to begin with. Do you have the other FOB to try that key?

So, I SHOULD be able to just inser the key in the hole and turn to open the door right?

I better go try mines, I have never had to use them. I hope the darn keys work...

The key is there in case fob doesn't work ,you pop key out and use it in the key hole on the door.

Yeah, mines work okay...if you got your car new, maybe they (dealership)switched the keys in the FOB by mistake...bring it back to the dealer.
