I seen people with taillights.they are like...

half clear, half read.... clear top, red bottom.

In order to make it look like that, do i have to buy new taillights?or just modification you can do to make it that way?

Thank you.

they have finally made them for cheap and you can buy them on ebay. previously they were only available from http://www.clearcorners.com clear corners started their business with the 240sx coupe/convertible tails. You can buy them outright or send in your tails as a core. They can also retrofit your tails with LED's. Clearcorners.com is not cheap.

has anyone thought of doing a red out of the stock tails? would save alota people money. only thing would be needed it some red transparent film. only thing needed to do would be to just place the red film over the amber part of the tails. i been considering trying this but this would be later on after my paint job

those tailights you have to buy, i don't know if there's a way you could modify them. i bought mine last year when they first came out. i bought them on ebay for $200 total (sucks cuz they're cheaper on ebay now). they were being sold on ebay before any other place. i was looking for them when i first saw them to see if i could find them cheaper - enjukuracing.com, clearcorners.com, etc. i currently have them on my car and they look siick on it.

Those clears are from Origin, G Corporation...etc, but as far as I know, all of them are same ones made in Taiwan. I have a set on my car and they look pretty good. Quality is not as good as OEM though. If you have a car with dark color, smoked ones will look nice too.

Clearcorners used to have their own version of tail lights(half white rather than clear), but it's not available anymore. I emailed them a month ago and they said S13 coupe tail lights are under development and they will use LED. He also mentioned that the price will be very high.

Your best bet will be buy a pair from eBay.http://motors.search.ebay.com/...prchi=

BTW, red portion is not red enough for these eBay clear tails, so actual light looks like PINK. I put red colored bulbs, and they made a huge difference. If you own these clear tails, you might want to try that. If you put new Eclipse bulb($30+ ea) for blinker, you can make clear part really clear(no amber inside). It's called stealth bulb or something, so it's amber only when it's on.

I tried Candy Apple spray on another car for all red tails, and it looked good at first, but eventually paint faded away and glossy look was gone. You should clear coat it if you want it to last longer.

Has anyone ever had experience with that night shades sprat on tint? Well i bought some the other day and used it on my parking lights, and then i used it on my tail lights. I think it looks alright, but if i start not liking it, and can always buy clear corners, or these tails from ebay you're talking about. I guess i'll have to get off my a$$ and take some pics and show everyone later.

Pic attached...

There's another company who makes clear S13 tails, but I think the quality is not as good as JDM ones. Super Made is the company and it's from down under. They used to sell on eBay, but not sure if they still do that.

Super Made is actually a company from Japan... there was a place in AUS that used to sell a few real Super Made items a little while back, and then I assume there wasn't as much demand as they thought there'd be. The lights aren't actually made by Super Made though. Most all those crystal taillights all come from the same factory in Taiwan, so it doesn't matter which "brand" you get, they should all end up being pretty similar

Got it. Thanks for the clarification... Just googled and found this.

Yeah, there are 2 different types of S13 coupe tails and one is way cheaper than the other. 9,800 Yen one looks similar to ones from clearcorners though.
