How to: Manual transmission lower chassis harness removal?

So I need the four removable wires going from the chassis harness down to a manual transmission, and I cannot find out a way to pull the wires without dropping the transmission. Has anyone any idea where these wires go and how to remove them?

Uhhh there should be clips. Unclip the wires and take out the harness. You shouldn't have to drop the trans in order to get to these IIRC, put the car on ramps so you can get a better look.

Actually, it was a wrecked car and it was jacked up and placed on two wheels and tires. There were clips on the harness side but no clips on the transmission side. they looked as if the wires went THROUGH the transmission walls. I have no idea.

you're going to need to remove the sensors.

Oh sorry, read it wrong. Thought you were trying to remove the harness.

do these sensors you speak of unbolt? It looked like the wires were attached or went throught the transmission housing.

yeah the sensor is what the wire attaches to, they thread out of the trans, just look closely, you'll see.
