I think he means to dye them in terriyaki sauce I read somthing about it once. it will leave a orangish tint on your needles.

While you're taking care of the blinker fluid go ahead and throw in another transmission. I heard you get better gas mileage if you have two.

I use the Polarg M21 Hyper Red bulbs. It makes the gauge cluster look orange. On the S14 there were three bulbs. They are sold in pairs so I had to buy two pair. They are available here http://www.prolightstar.com/ac....html

No, you dont want to do that. This is what you do.

1. Take a green hilighter and paint all the needles green.

2. Take off the stock gauge faces and color the back of them with a blue permanant marker.

3. Put the gauge faces back on and be sure to twist the needles wildly so both the estimated speed and RPM's are way off.

4. Put cluster back together.

5. Sell your car to me, so I can rip apart the cluster and see what a retarded thing you did, forcing me to buy a new cluster.

Oh wait, that actually happened to me...

Can do.

I have seen a couple 240's where they removed the needles (carefully) and wetsanded the back of the needle to remove the red/orange paint, then added a diff color bulb to make the needle that color.

Looks sweet.

Find NICO member 98s14inAZ, he has done it.

you'll like this one greg not exactly what he's asking, but it does make for orange needles... I went to a junkyard and snatched some q45 gauge needles. fit right on my s13 cluster.

I painted mine while I had it apart installing new faceplates...I took the needles and painted the top portion with orange safety paint, they look just like NeedCAforS13, the only problem was that my tachometer never worked the same after that.....Got an HUD, they rock!!!

This is a mod I've been meaning to do for awhile....

I want to make the whole cluster brighter, not bling-bling 2F2F super-bright blue, just a much brighter version of stock. Actually, that goes for all the instrument lights, radio, etc... It's all way too dim.

here get the needles painted or something and buy this. itll look kind of like the type rs.

man youre nuts lol u can buy an older 240 for the price of one of those suckers lol 11krpm is scary though i wish the sr can rev that high without heavy stress. isnt the mugen one even more expensive? oh wait the spoons are more expensive 1k+

i like your defi gauge din it looks good. too bad it doesnt come with a psi meter. and how does the infinity basslink sound?

yep, spoon is the ****

I think all their hand built motors have 11k rev? wow

my defi gauge is only there to monitor the critical stuff, I find myself reviewing it at high speed

as far as the boost, I refer to the boost controller (sold the greddy gauge, **** BAR reading). I can refer to the graph when I am not so busy looking at the road

the basslink is pale in comparison with a good system, naturally, but it does eliminate the weak/bassless soun from the 4 4x6 speakers.... a good bang for the buck if you ask me

There's one Spoon EK9 that revs to 15,000rpm.

Spoon rules, I want one of their cars.
