how to lower idle

i have a 2005 nissan sentra se-r and i need to know if there is a way to lower my idle

iirc, there should be an idle screw right under your intake manifold. lefty loosey = raise idlerighty tighty = lower idle

QR's use an electronic throttle, don't they?

If so, there's no such screw. It's all electronically controlled and you can't get into it. If you have a high idle, check for vacuum leaks and the TPS voltage.

yeah its electric so no screw.i dont have anything to check the voltage

will it hurt anything if i run it like this?

ill probably take it to the dealer on mon.

A high idle really isn't a problem on its own as long as it's not ridiculous. It's more annoying than anything else.

I had a vac leak at one point that caused my cold idle to be near 1800 and warm to stick to about 1500. That was obnoxious.
